RCFrame - A versatile tool for structural analysis and RCC Design

FTPL RCFrame: Main Features

RCFrame: A state-of-the-art RCC Frame Designer

A versatile tool for analysis and design of RCC framed structures as per IS456:2000.

The principal philosophy behind development of the software is re-using the work done in one project for subsequent projects, thereby reducing the time consumed by structural engineers per project. This is done by re-using structural model components and data. Also, adequate tools are made available for easy and error-free creation of the structural models. The software is aimed to reduce the time required to design RCC structures significantly without sacrificing accuracy in analysis and design. The most significant components of RCFrame are:

  • Plan to space frame generator
    + Create intricate models easily
  • Arbitrary column section designer
+ Allow imagination to fly. Columns of any cross section shapes can be designed now
  • Interaction curves generator for column sections
+ Analyse column sections and provide economical solutions to your clients
  • Strength envelope generator for column sections
+ Get a clear idea of safety of a column against the applied loads
  • Complete control of analysis and design core functions using VBScripts
    + Optimise your design
+ Calculate residual life of structures
    + Validate designs
+ Possibilities limited only by Your imagination
  • Generation of beam detailing drawing for easy interpretation of beam design
+ Review the beam design at a glance
  • Generation of column schedule for reference in column detailing
+ Review column design at a glance
